Scanning, handovers and stocktaking

Scanner#

Where · The round button in the bottom bar (lookup), or the ASSIGN / RECEIVE cards on the Dashboard.

The camera, plus:

• Action indicator — At the top: assign, receive or look up. Check it before you scan.
• Torch — For dark shelving.
• Manual entry — When the label is torn or dirty.
• Batch counter — In „several items" mode only: how many you have scanned so far.

The code read is matched in order: equipment and individual items → consumables → materials.

How do you want to scan?#

Where · After tapping the ASSIGN or RECEIVE card.

• One item — Scan, confirm, the scanner closes.
• Several items — The scanner stays open. At the end you sign once for the whole batch.

The assign dialog#

Where · After a scan in assign mode.

• Employeerequired — From the company's list. Their photo appears here — the check that they are who you think.
• Return date — Optional. Without it, the item can never become overdue.
• Notes — Free text; it reaches the handover record.

On confirming, the two signatures begin.

The receive dialog#

Where · After a scan in receive mode.

• Return locationrequired — Where the item goes back. Only locations you supervise.
• State on return — If it broke meanwhile, it is marked here.
• Notes — E.g. „worn cable".

The signature#

Where · Automatically, on confirming a handover or a return.

Two dialogs in sequence, marked 1 / 2 and 2 / 2, each with the signer's name and role. Plus

Drawn with a finger; there is a clear-and-retry option.

Batch handover summary#

Where · At the end of a scan in „several items” mode.

The list of everything you scanned, to check before signing. Items can be taken out here. The result is one handover record, with every line, signed once.

Blitz stocktake#

Where · Inventory → top menu → Blitz. Or from a location's panel.

Continuous scanning on one location. Pro See chapter 13 for the procedure.

• Checklist — A tree: containers show their children, with a counter like „2/3".
• Counters — Expected, found, foreign.
• Mark missing — At the end, in bulk, on the ones not found.
• Move here — On the foreign ones — only if they are not with an employee or in transit.

Barcode scan#

Where · From an item's add form, the scan button in the header.

A different thing from the action scanner: here you read the manufacturer's code to pre-fill a new item, not the ToolFlux code of an existing one.Plus
