Blitz stocktake and audit
Check a whole warehouse by scanning and find what is missing and what is foreign.

What it is for
A stocktake answers one question: is what the app says here actually here? It adds nothing and moves nothing — it establishes.Pro
The difference from counting on paper is that you do not keep the tally. You walk the warehouse and scan; the list colours itself in as you find things, and at the end the discrepancy is already worked out.
How it goes
Pick the location
The administrator sees all of them; everyone else, only the ones they supervise.
Scan continuously
The camera stays on. Every code read ticks the item off the list, with sound and vibration if you left them on. You do not touch the screen between scans.
Stop when you are done
The result shows four numbers: expected, found, missing, foreign.
Decide what to do with the differences
Mark the missing ones — all at once — and, if you want, move the foreign ones here.

The container rule
This is deliberate, and it is the difference between a stocktake and a formality: if scanning the case confirmed everything the records say is in it, the stocktake would be confirming the records against themselves. The very things that disappear — a battery, a drill chuck — are the ones that would go unchecked.
The three end categories
Found
Scanned and expected here. Nothing happens to them.
Missing
Expected here and not found. You can mark them all at once as Missing, which takes them out of circulation until they turn up.
Foreign
Found here but recorded somewhere else. Never silently ignored: they are the most useful information a stocktake produces, because they explain half of another location's missing items.
The list audit, the alternative without a camera
Locations also have a slower, more detailed check: you walk the list and mark each item present, missing or damaged — a distinction Blitz does not have, because a scanned code says nothing about the state of the object.Plus
The result stays in the location's history, with the date and who did it. Blitz is for the annual stocktake of a large warehouse; the list audit, for a careful check of a van or a small place of work.
Where you work
On the phone
From the inventory tab's menu, or from a location's panel. This is the only place a stocktake really happens: you need the camera in your hand, in the warehouse.
In the console
The Blitz button under Inventar opens the same three-step flow — pick the location, scan or type the codes, review the result. If the laptop has no camera, codes can be entered by hand.
In practice it is the version for somebody stocktaking at a desk with a handheld scanner plugged in, rather than walking the warehouse.
What differs
The same mechanics, but the app is the one built for this: continuous scanning with the phone in hand, with sound and vibration so you know it read without looking at the screen. The console exists for when the goods come to you, not you to them.
