Locations: warehouses, vans and sites
Organise where goods sit and who is responsible for each place.

In short
- Three kinds of location: warehouse, van, site. They differ in what they can do, not just in name.
- Each location has one or several supervisors — they hold the right to move what is there.
- When a site closes, the goods go back to a warehouse. What is with people stays with people.
Three kinds of location
Warehouse
The fixed place goods sit. The default destination for returns and the target when a site is demobilised.
Van
A location that moves. Besides goods it holds the vehicle's own data — documents with expiry dates, fuel, service. Chapter 08 covers those.Plus
Site
A temporary place of work. It opens, receives goods, and at the end is demobilised — a step the other two do not have.
The type is not cosmetic: only a van has the vehicle section, only a site can be demobilised and costed, and only a warehouse can receive the goods of a closing site.

Supervisors
A location has a list of supervisors. They — plus the administrator, who counts as a supervisor everywhere — are the only people who can hand over, receive, transfer or stocktake there.
A location with no supervisor is not an error, but it is a dead end: nobody except the administrator can move anything there.
What else a location holds
- Capacity — optional; when set, the list shows a colour-coded occupancy bar.
- Address and identifier — for warehouses and sites, the registration number for vans.
- Documents with expiry dates — permits, contracts, acceptance records. The same alerting as vehicle documents, covered in chapter 08.
- History — everything in and out, with a date-ranged PDF export.
A location's inventory
A location's panel shows what is there now, by category: tools, consumables, materials. Items can be opened from here without going through the general inventory.
Bulk removal is also here: pick several items and quantities at once and move them elsewhere. Useful when reorganising a warehouse, where the alternative is fifty individual operations.
Closing a site
When the job finishes, the site is demobilised: you choose the receiving warehouse and the goods on site go back there in one operation. The site becomes inactive and drops out of the working lists, but its history stays.
The operation cannot be undone, and at the end you can download a PDF report of everything that moved. Worth keeping: it is the proof the site was handed back empty.
On the phone
The locations card on the home screen. Demobilising is in the site's panel and appears only for that type of location.
In the console
The Locații & Flotă page, with tabs for transfers, supply and stock rules. Adding and editing locations is administrator-only.

What differs
The console is clearly better here: paginated history, bulk removal with mixed selection and the demobilisation report are desk operations on a large screen. The phone has what it needs so you are not stuck in the field, but you do not reorganise a warehouse on the move.
